Notice of Race

You are invited to participate in the 2008 Audi Sydney Harbour Regatta, 1st & 2nd March, followed by the Official Event Prize Ceremony on Monday 3rd March 6.30pm for 7pm at Middle Harbour Yacht Club.

Racing will be conducted on 8 Course Areas on the waters of Sydney Harbour with racing open to all yachts from the principal classes, Farr 40 OD, Sydney 38 OD, IRC, Sydney 32 OD, PHS - Sports 30, Classic Yachts, Cavalier 28, Hood 23, Non-Spinnaker & Corporate Divisions, Int. J24s, Int. Dragons, Int. Etchells, Int. Yngling, Adams 10m, Elliot 7s.

By far the richest prize in Australian Sailing, the overall winner of the Regatta will be awarded the brand new Audi A4 sedan - a car which will be launched Downunder in April 2008. To win this car, crews from each winning yacht in each of the 20 divisions must compete for the prize at the "Audi Final Challenge" at Eastern Creek Raceway on Monday 3rd March 2008.

Competitors are reminded that the Middle Harbour Yacht Club provides a full weekend of shoreside entertainment to you are your guests.

This program commences with the Competitors and Sponsors Cocktail Party on Tuesday 12th February at 6.30pm. Please RSVP to Erica on 02 8969 3111

Saturday 1st March, MHYC will come alive with "Audi Happy Hour" commencing at 5pm till 6pm, followed by live entertainment at the St Arnou Beach Party featuring race highlights on the enormous shorefront screen. Sunday 2nd March, there is the finale beach event, and Monday the Final Challenge, with the Regatta concluding at the Official Prize Ceremony on Monday 3rd March at MHYC.
